The safeguard of the Christian Cultural Heritage

In Syria and in Iraq the Christian heritage underwent damages and destructions in consequence of the war or because of the criminal attacks of the Islamic State and other extremist militias. In some Muslim countries the great Christian heritage is mostly abandoned or at a certain risk. If the Christians cannot keep living in those countries, also their heritage , that is a world heritage, will disappear. It is a tremendous loss for all the world.
